The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to arrive in the UK today with their two children, ahead of Archie and Lilibet starting at a new British school next week, though a spokesperson has declined to comment on the move.
Prince Harry and Meghan are due to arrive back in the UK today, alongside their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The family are believed to be flying into the country privately from California. A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: “This is not something we would comment on,” when asked about the arrival.
A private return, not a return to royal duties
The couple will not be resuming official royal duties as part of the move. Instead, they will live in Britain as private citizens and non-working royals, continuing under the same arrangement that has applied since they stepped back from senior royal roles in 2020.
Where the family will be based
It is understood the family will base themselves at a private property outside London, in the Cotswolds. Archie and Lilibet have already been enrolled in a British school, with the new term due to begin next week, marking the children’s move into UK-based education.
