Phone theft in London has fallen by 13,000 offences over the past year as the Metropolitan Police deploy heat-seeking drones, high-speed electric motorbikes and live facial recognition cameras in a targeted crackdown that officers say is beginning to deliver results — though figures showing fewer than one per cent of cases result in a charge have prompted warnings that the crime remains effectively unpunished. The Met’s Operation Catchclaw has been using Sur-Ron high-speed electric motorbikes alongside specialist plain-clothes interceptor teams to pursue thieves who use illegally modified e-bikes capable of reaching speeds of up to 60 miles per hour. A…

Neimas carried a Hermès Birkin bag valued at approximately £25,000. Sobhani himself clutched a Louis Vuitton holdall priced at £2,690. Settling…

A Hollywood talent agent has become an unlikely viral sensation after video footage showed him calmly eating his burrata salad as chaos erupted around him at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, with President Donald Trump being rushed from the room by Secret Service agents following a shooting in the hotel lobby. Michael Glantz, a senior agent at Creative Artists Agency — which counts former President Joe Biden among its represented figures — was captured on camera in a tuxedo, fork in hand, serenely continuing his first course as fellow diners at the prestigious annual gala dived beneath their white-clothed tables.…

Five gunshots were heard outside the venue during the black-tie event, prompting Secret Service agents to escort President Trump from the building. No injuries were reported, and Trump has since described…
A growing network of money-saving influencers and personal finance websites is guiding Universal Credit claimants through a little-known world of heavily discounted days out — with some of Britain’s most prestigious attractions available for as little as £1 — as the total number of people on the benefit reaches a record 8.4 million. Among the most prominent voices is Skint Dad, a personal finance website founded by Hull-based couple Ricky and Naomi Willis, which describes its mission as helping “normal families feel less pressure about money.” The site has published detailed guides directing benefit claimants towards reduced-price entry at some…
A fire has broken out at RAF Fairford, the Gloucestershire air base currently being used by the United States Air Force to launch bombing operations against Iran, in the early hours of Sunday morning. Further images from the scene showed the building’s roof had collapsed as firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control. No injuries were reported and no RAF aircraft were damaged.…
