Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has been caught out in a fresh embarrassment after video footage posted to his own Instagram account revealed he was filming from Dubai airport — not Muscat in Oman, as he had told his wife and the Good Morning Britain hosts when explaining why he had missed their first joint television interview.
Andrews, 43, was due to join Price, 47, on the ITV daytime programme on Tuesday for what was billed as their first TV appearance together since the couple married in January. Instead, Price appeared alone, telling hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls that her husband had been delayed flying in from Muscat, where she said he had been attending to business matters. “He just didn’t make the flight,” she told the programme. “He’s flying from Muscat and he had things to do, he didn’t make the flight but he’s at the airport now.”

Shortly after, Andrews posted a video on Instagram from the airport, apparently intended to demonstrate he was on his way to the UK. The footage clearly showed the departures lounge at Dubai International Airport — the city where he lives — not Muscat, as he had claimed.
The discrepancy was not lost on viewers, with the clip going viral almost immediately and prompting widespread scrutiny of Andrews’ account of events. Price appeared unaware of the inconsistency during the interview, defending her husband’s absence and denying separate speculation that he had been detained at the airport. When Susanna Reid asked pointedly: “I wonder if he’s telling you everything — do you trust him?”, Price replied that she did.
The episode has reignited longstanding questions about Andrews and his ability to leave the UAE. He faces ongoing allegations that he forged the signature of his former girlfriend, Dina Taji, to secure a £200,000 loan — allegations he has strongly and repeatedly denied. Reports have previously suggested he may be unable to travel freely out of Dubai as a result of the legal situation, though no formal travel ban has been confirmed publicly.
The Sun, which first reported the airport video discrepancy, noted that Andrews had made no public comment on the matter at the time of publication.
