Peter Andre marked his son Junior’s 21st birthday with a day out in London that ended in a tequila-fuelled celebration, with the non-drinking singer poking fun at his “tipsy” children in a hilarious Instagram video shared on Saturday.
Junior appeared visibly worse for wear as he hugged his father, while 18-year-old Princess broke into an impromptu rendition of Peter’s 1995 hit Mysterious Girl, with the siblings taking turns singing lines of the song as their dad filmed. “I cannot cope guys. Honestly. Help!” Peter wrote, adding: “When dad doesn’t drink but the others make up for it.” Princess admitted in the comments: “One too many tequilas.”
Princess wore a white crop top with low-rise, oversized jeans for the celebration, while Junior opted for a grey jumper and matching trousers. During the lavish meal, Junior shared a short video of himself drinking tequila shots, and later posted a follow-up snap looking considerably worse for wear, writing: “Tequila finished me off. Guys I’m done my head’s spinning.”
The birthday celebration comes shortly after Princess and friend Heidi Katona documented their trip to Monaco for the Grand Prix last week. Princess, the daughter of Katie Price, posed with a £440 bottle of Belvedere vodka while wearing blue trousers paired with a sheer lace top. Heidi, 19, whose mother is Kerry Katona, shared a series of images from the trip showing her in a plunging top and slip skirt, alongside footage of Junior.
The family celebrations come at a turbulent time for Katie Price, whose husband Lee Andrews has reportedly been released from prison in Dubai following a difficult month. The 43-year-old, who has previously described himself as a billionaire, was detained at Al Awir Central Prison last month on fraud allegations. Price had said a six-figure sum would be needed to secure his release, with Andrews said to have been seeking £140,000 and asking Price to set up a GoFundMe page.
Speaking to The Sun, Price confirmed Andrews had now been released, with a friend saying: “Lee is out.” He reportedly FaceTimed Price minutes after his release, though she was said to be demanding answers and had refused to contribute any money towards his bail. A friend told the publication: “Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid. She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well. For whatever reason, she still loves him and is hugely physically attracted to him. But make no bones about it: Lee is a conman and a fraud and there must be consequences to his despicable actions. She must leave this man.”
The Daily Mail published the first picture of Andrews since his release, showing him wearing a baseball cap and sporting a deep tan with his usual smile. Representatives for Price declined to comment when approached.
After learning of her husband’s arrest, Price had flown to Dubai and was reportedly prepared to pay £6,500 for his release after being told that was the required fee. On arrival at the courthouse, however, she was informed the figure would instead be £140,000 due to a separate, unresolved property-related case involving Andrews. Price has declined to pay this amount. When Andrews allegedly asked whether a fundraiser had been set up to help cover the cost, Price is said to have responded: “No-one will do that for you, Lee, trust me. Everyone hates you.”
