Footage shared by Nigel Farage has racked up millions of views after capturing the exact moment a woman shouted abuse at him from her car, only to plough into the vehicle in front seconds later.
Nigel Farage has posted a video online showing a woman hurling an insult at him from behind the wheel, moments before she collided with another car. Sharing the clip on X, the Reform UK leader wrote: “This lady shouted abuse at me and then crashed her own car. That’s what you might call instant karma!” The footage was captured during a campaign walkabout with Reform UK activists, and no serious injuries have been reported from the crash.
Inside the clip
Farage can be seen on the pavement with a group of supporters as part of a public walkabout when a woman driving a hatchback slows alongside them, leans out and shouts an insult in his direction. Within seconds, her car runs into the back of the vehicle stopped ahead of her at a set of traffic lights. The impact appeared minor, with both cars coming to a stop straight away. Onlookers among Farage’s group were seen glancing round at the noise, several looking taken aback by how quickly the crash followed the outburst.
Rear-end shunts of this kind, occurring at junctions or traffic lights, are typically put down to a driver’s attention briefly leaving the road, and this incident carries the same hallmarks.

Within hours of being posted, the clip had been viewed millions of times and shared widely across X, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram, quickly becoming one of the most-watched political videos in the UK that day. Thousands of comments followed as the footage continued to circulate.
The aftermath
No investigation by police has been announced, and there are no reports of any arrests or offences linked to the collision. For his part, Farage carried on with the walkabout shortly after filming the clip, with the brief commotion doing little to interrupt the rest of his campaigning.
