Counter terror police are investigating a series of violent attacks across Edinburgh on Friday that left five people injured, with three requiring hospital treatment.
Police received multiple calls reporting a string of incidents across the city, which included threats, robbery and vandalism. Five men were injured in the attacks: two aged 22, and others aged 24, 27 and 39. None of the injuries sustained are believed to be life-threatening.
A 36-year-old white Scottish man has been arrested in connection with the incidents. Police have confirmed there is no further threat to the public.
