A content creator who filmed construction work on Jeffrey Epstein’s former private island has issued a public apology after claiming mysterious black vehicles have been stationed outside his residence for days.
Nico Grigg, 19, posted to TikTok and Instagram stating that blacked-out Escalade trucks have waited outside his home daily since he uploaded footage of Little Saint James on 30 January. The post received more than 835,000 likes and over 13,500 comments on Instagram.
“It’s been just three days since I posted this video of me sneaking onto Jeffrey Epstein’s Island. Every day since I’ve been home, there have been blacked-out Escalade trucks sitting outside my house. I’m not sure what they want or who they are, but I’m posting this here now just in case anything happens,” Grigg stated in the video.

The Long Island-born YouTuber, who runs two channels with over 3.2 million and 2.4 million subscribers respectively, posted a subsequent apology video expressing fear about the alleged surveillance. “For all I know this could be Jeffrey Epstein’s friends. If I pissed anyone off, I apologise, and I want this all to be over,” he said.
Grigg’s original expedition to the Caribbean island occurred during his final day in the US Virgin Islands following two unsuccessful access attempts. He succeeded in reaching the shore to document ongoing development work at the location where the convicted child sex offender, serial rapist and human trafficker conducted illegal activities.
His footage, which has garnered over 3.1 million views on YouTube, shows construction visible from the coastline and captures individuals whom he claimed were filming him from golf carts as he jet skied around the property. The influencer was unable to explore beyond the beach after stepping on several sea urchins upon arrival.

Before reaching the island, Grigg claimed he received a message from someone identifying as a Little St. James employee warning him to stay away and threatening arrest if he returned. His video also showed footage he alleged depicted coast guard vessels pursuing them as they attempted to leave the area.
Grigg first gained popularity for crashing Omegle chats and Zoom calls and began his content creation journey on TikTok in December 2020 according to famousbirthdays.com. He has since established strong presence across multiple platforms including Instagram, where he has approximately 478,000 followers, alongside X and TikTok.
The island was purchased by billionaire Stephen Deckoff through his firm SD Investments for $60 million, despite the properties being listed at $125 million according to the New York Times. Deckoff has announced plans to transform the site into an adults-only resort.
Grigg’s video publication coincided with the Department of Justice’s latest batch of Epstein file releases. Over three million documents forming part of the infamous files have been released to the public, with recent releases including photographs showing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling over a woman and emails alleging former business secretary Peter Mandelson shared briefings with Epstein.
The FBI raided Little Saint James following Epstein’s death whilst he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges. The location remains a focal point of public interest as numerous celebrity names have been implicated in documents since the files’ release.
Grigg’s claims about being followed have not been independently verified. The content creator has not provided additional evidence beyond his social media posts stating vehicles have been present outside his home. Neither local authorities nor representatives for SD Investments have commented on his allegations.
The YouTuber’s documentation of Epstein’s former property represents a departure from his typical prank-style content whilst capitalising on public fascination with the controversial location and ongoing construction work.
