PRINCE William met’s Jabs Army heroes today to thank them for their efforts.

The Duke of Cambridge, 38, hailed vaccination centre staff and volunteers for stepping up when the “chips are down”.

Wills reckoned: “It’s remarkable how versatile we can be when we require to be. It’s made us reassess our priorities.”

He travelled a short range from his home at Anmer Hall, Norfolk, to the centre in King’s Lynn. It was his first public engagement given that Christmas.

Stewart and Fliss Davidson, from Downham Market, are amongst 50,000 Sun readers who signed up to our Jabs Army.

Fliss, 54, said: “We really enjoy the chance to do something helpful. We feel really fortunate.

” It was really incredible to satisfy him and completely unanticipated. He was charming and asking after the patients and how we’re discovering it.”

Spouse Stewart, 58, included: “We’ve got to do our bit to get the country moving once again.”

The couple joined the Jabs Army after their occasions photography business struggled throughout the national lockdown.

The centre, run by Cambridgeshire Neighborhood Solutions NHS Trust, is vaccinating approximately 500 people a day.

One medic hailed’s Jabs Army volunteers as “incredibly helpful”.

Wills, who called Covid-19 last April and was “very ill”, spoke to staff and volunteers at each stage of the procedure.

He asked vaccinator Debbie Rudd, 50, whether patients fidgeted, adding: “I ‘d be at the front of the queue if I could, just to prove that it’s OKAY, but I have to wait my turn.”

And he hailed brand-new research study recommending vaccines are reducing hospital admissions.
