MARIA Menounos stated her mommy fighting brain cancer was diagnosed with Covid-19 with her husband.
After sharing the news, the 42-year-old requested “prayers” for her household.
Maria opened about her mom’s battle with Covid-19 during Monday’s episode of her podcast Much better Together.
After a week-long lack from her podcast, Maria described that she flew to Los Angeles to take care of her mom, Litsa.
Litsa has been handling a brain growth after her fight with stage 4 brain cancer.
The journalist said on her podcast: “We got some not some not so terrific news on Monday, November 23, that my mother’s brain tumor was growing.”
Litsa’s maid then called in ill, so Maria and her partner Kevin Undergaro flew out to assist the next day.
Maria continued the podcast: “We land, which’s when this all began.
” I’m simply going to share that we’re in procedure today, and we still need prayers.
” Long story brief is that within a few hours, both of my parents were diagnosed with COVID.”
Maria’s mother right away went to the medical facility, with her dad, Constantinos, going soon after.
The journalist wrecked as she stated: “First it was my mom; they had rushed her to the medical facility right when I landed, and after that a couple of hours later my daddy evaluated favorable. It was absolutely surreal.
” And at this minute, both of them are in separate healthcare facilities here in Los Angeles.”
The experience was made even more stressful for Maria as she invested the day on the phone with doctors at the various medical facilities.
Maria continued: “It’s been pretty ridiculous.
” I have actually kept focusing on what my desired result, and not what my worry was, which helped me a lot. I think as it has actually extended, and I’ve ended up being more and more tired, fear creeps back in.”
The emotional podcast host continued to weep as she called the last few weeks “an incredible difficulty.”
She said: “You work so hard to keep your moms and dads healthy and alive, and to see something like this take place.
” I indicate it was bad enough on Monday to hear that about my mother’s tumor. And then the stack of that is a lot.”
Many read in Celeb

‘QUEEN’
Kim Kardashian flaunts curves wearing tiny thong swimwear in jacuzzi shots
WEEPING TOM
Shamed Kasabian star groans girlfriend attack was ‘a fight & I took brunt of it’ Special
REET TELLING-OFF
Rita Ora’s daddy shames singer for flouting lockdown rules on 30th birthday
